Mini-Ihtifal 2007

Alhamdulillah, we managed to have a so-called mini ihtifal for our children. Its more of a day of achievement for them, because they have been with us for almost one year and we are very glad that proud that they DID it!!!!

For this special occasion, we had Teacher Farra, our guest to enlighten us on the stories of our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).


Then we sang the Selawat together with the kids ...

And finally enjoying the potluck for the day..

Birthday!!!

Its a grand celebration, as we celebrated Luqman and Izzurin birthday.





Not only did we have cakes and food, we had games too...

and to just for fun, we had a crown making competition for the kids, but of course with lots of help from the mommies...

Theme: Months in Islam

There are many important months in Islam such as Ramadhan when we are told to fast or Muharram which is the first month in the Islamic Calendar. Our kids are thus given the awareness of these months through the song Months in Islam and counting the number of months that make up a year.

For craft, we did an islamic calendar month out of teddy bears..

Theme: Shapes and World of Colors

Our kids are able to distinguish forms such as circles, squares and triangles through our jumping around the shapes games.



In our World of colors, we did a basket of fruits, to explore the various colors of fruits.

and of course Andrian with the paint of colors....

Theme: Allah Creation

Allah makes the Sun, the moon and everything around us...

In this topic, the children learned that everything around us are created by Allah.

Module 6 - Amazing Animals

Our kids had so much fun and excitement when Teacher Faz brought in for Animals - Pets session, a chick! They got to touch the cute, furry chick.

The kids got to learn and discuss the relationship between people and different kinds of animals, then categorize animals into farm animals and zoo animals.

ALIM Kids Playgroup Putrajaya

Assalamualaikum

Our Playgroup started in December 2006 with a group of 12 children with the youngest being two years old and the oldest was four years old.

They have been with us for a year and Alhamdulillah, we are amazed to see them developed from a shy and reserved little ones to now, a more confident young children.

Objectives

Our aim is to provide a high quality, integrated early Islamic education for the foundation stage of a child.

The program comprises of both whole language (thematic approach) and phonics (early literacy) using resources relating to Islam instilling in the children Oneness of God in early concept of Tauhid. Cleanliness in Fiqh, Stories from the Quran in Sirah and simple Arabic vocabularies.

As for phonics awareness, we are using the Ants on the Apple cd songbook. Alhamdullillah, we have completed the book this month and the kids are really good!!
